Read my post again, I criticise brainless scammers not all scammers. I've been scammed and I have also scammed people myself. Thing is, escrow system as it stands makes it far too easy to scam and get away with it. Brainless; risking absolutely nothing. 50% of escrow is just nonsense because of this. Escrow needs redesigning, and it is being redesigned.
Scamming should be what it is supposed to be - intelligent, tricky etc. Currently I don't think even 1% of escrow scams meet those criteria. At least put in some tools: like filters to enable the escrow-user to wade through the crap more effectively, cos I for one am bored of seeing page after page of the same person's dumb scam.
It's very very hard to weed out "smart" scams from "dumb" ones without a Human checking them, and it's an effort which shouldn't be made - it is, again, a matter of freedom.
And I first asked for escrow ignore what... 2 years ago? Long needed, but for other reasons too.

The rationale for THAT is that real life cash is involved in the transfer, etc. Which is...more understandable, and the action is by its nature OOC. The scam? IC.
And can I have your stuff?

Because you're chosing to defend a GM descision which flys in the face of everything CCP promotes about Eve. And you're making unsupported inferences about pure-ISK scams being against the rules ANYWHERE, as previously known.

You are no GM, and GM descisions have been overturned before because of popular protest. Because this IS a terrible descision which kills much of the free nature of Eve.
Freedom includes the freedom to fall for scams for in-game currency, bluntly.
And again, you're assuming that what the EULA says is true when that is untested, legally. And it's not something which any MMO company WANTS to see put to the challenge.
